2011 SCORE Counselor of the Year

Jack Palmer Green - SCORE

Jack Palmer Green acquired Fairbairn Electric in 1975 and served as President and CEO, along with all the other caps he wore as a small business owner, from 1975 through 2007.

Jack belongs to the South Shore Christian Church where not only was his family ‘Charter Members’, but he has served in every leadership role. Jack also has a ‘Perfect Attendance’ record that spans over 4 decades at the Rotary Club of Corpus Christi.

Jack joined SCORE in November 2008. He is currently serving in his second year as Vice Chair, and will assume the Chapter Chair position in September 2011. He has taken on additional responsibilities as Workshop Chair, and Recruitment Committee member in 2010 and Mentoring Methodology Committee Chair and Recruiting Committee member in 2011. Because of his tireless efforts to serve the mission of SCORE, Jack’s leadership is evident each month and is very much appreciated by his fellow SCORE members. These qualities make Jack Green this year’s SCORE Counselor of the Year.
