Joe Cisneros is the President of the Corpus Christi Hispanic Chamber of Commerce. Joe is being awarded the Minority Business Champion of the Year Award due to his pro-active approach to growing small, minority, and women-owned businesses. Joe spent 25 years in the broadcasting business, and developed an extensive sales and marketing background. He also served as an Executive Director for the Kingsville and Alice Chambers of Commerce from 1995-2003. He took over the Corpus Christi Hispanic Chamber of Commerce in 2003, and has grown the organization to over 800 members. In addition to leading the Chamber, Joe is also heavily involved in the local community. He currently serves on the board of directors of the Texas Business Association, the Texas Association of Mexican American Chambers of Commerce and several other business organizations. Joe is also an advocate for education, and serves as the founding board member for the Big Brothers and Big Sisters in Corpus Christi. More than ever, small businesses have come to recognize the Corpus Christi Hispanic Chamber as a place that represents their concerns and issues. Under Joe’s pro-active leadership, the local small business community will continue to prosper and move forward.
