Established in 1981, the Texas Certified Development Corporation and its lending partners have provided over 350 million dollars in financing to businesses in Texas. TCDC is a for-profit economic development company that works with the SBA to finance business projects that promote job creation and retention. The Texas Certified Development Corporation is awarded the SBA 504 District Lender of the Year for providing 14 loans totaling 5.8 million dollars to local entrepreneurs. The 504 loan program is a long-term financing tool for economic development within a community.
